I would spend the extra money for a Van Gogh. Xstreams are not worth it imo unless your looking at budget amp at best.

I can't really say much about the new Ref lines because there not out yet. SS has made sure the new stuff stays close to home until the release date. If there anything close to the old stuff (my sig) watch out! My dealer said the coming out party will be in the time frame of the Spring Nationals?

If you can wait then I would for the new ref w/ Rubi technology. If not the new Tarantula's are good amps, but I've only been around the old Tarantula's / DaVinci's
