Soundstream vs. kicker

I am looking for a good cheap 5channel amp to do a quick install in a car I rarely drive. I've narrowed it down to either the Kicker zx700.5 or the Soundstream tra880.5. Ive read a few reviews on the kicker all saying good things, however the soundstream is rated higher in terms of power. I'm an old school soundstream guy and I know the new orient-made stuff won't touch the o/s stuff but just wanted to know what you guys thought.

Its like this man. Always think quality over power. Soundstream amps tend to go hot faster than kicker amps. Also the output rms wise, is not really stable on the stream amps imo. Its a tough one but, i'd say kicker.

My soundstream reference 500 is for sale on ebay till friday night. It's rated 500watts(rms) at 12 volts. Will put out lot more power at 13-14 volts. 1/2 ohm stable(stereo)1 ohm (mono). Dual class A output. Used it to power 3 jl 10w3s in sealed box. Sound so good, hit hard 2. I wouldn't touch new soundstream or kicker. no offense
