Soundstream TRX-1500D

Just bought the Soundstream TRX-1500D (Specs here) I got it for $309 shipped and I was wondering what all the experts think about the amp? Im going to put it to (1 for now) fi ssd12 @ 2 ohms.. the sub wants 800RMS and the trx will give it 1100 so i guess i'll just have to take it easy on her until i decide to get another ssd and bridge them down to one ohm, giving the two 1500 which is more reasonable i think... Just wondering if anyone has any comments on the set-up.

well, i dont have the monoblock trx amp... but i do have a 2 channel 550

not a bad amp, but not as well built as they used to be by soundstream.. but it gets the job done

u have a good setup going there nontheless.. fi makes some nice subs.. and IMO, soundstream still makes some good amps... once u get past the picasso line anyways
