soundstream Tarantula opinions

my friend just picked up a pair of these to replace his alpine coax... and honestly these speakers sound amazing! ive always been told to steer away from soundstream, but honestly id say these speakers are up there with my Polk MMs, i might even replace my Components alpines in my back with a pair of these. Anyone hear these and think the same or opposite?

I wouldn't buy Soundstream or Polk speakers, honestly

yeah we havent gotten to the point to where were going "high end" on anything, still kinda just learning everything hands on, but idk i was surprised by these to say the least, know we will see how long they last before i decide to trade out my alpines, i ******* hate those Type R speakers

The only soundstream products I would have really wanted are their old XXX subs.

If I didn't have a PA speaker setup, I'd go for Hertz speakers

yeah hertz are pretty nice, i knew a kid who had 4 of themm not sure which models, but he ended up trading them at the skate park for not even an oz of bud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif i was heart broken
