SoundStream Rubi Wiring, Sub, Bio Port?

Trying to fig out a way to power the SoundStream SQ-12 in my sig. Different people I have talked to say the sub performs better close to its 600wrms. Now the sub channel on the D'Artagnan will only do 400w @ 2ohm. I'm thinking of using the bio port and connect a rubi 500 amp to it. This will give me 800w@4ohm or 1000w@2ohm to play with.

My questions are does anyone think you can set the gains down enough from 1000wrms at 2ohm to 600w at 2ohm if I wire the sub in parallel?

I was also looking at wiring the sub in series which the amp would see 8ohm load. Is there a way to see how many watts the sub would see at a 8ohm load? Amps Bio Port @ 4ohm is rated at 800wrms. I was thinking this may get me closer to 600w?

Need some help here or any other ideas

You can run a svc or dvc, you'll just see different load and power output.

bio-port specs:

4ohm load = 800x1 @12.6 Vdc

2ohm load = 1000x1 @ 14.4 Vdc

If your just wanting to power just the sub, you can bio-port two 501's for the same specs above. Also the gains weren't a problem setting for around 600w. Now you just have to find the amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
