Soundstream PCX2.700

I currently have a Soundstream splx 122 2 ohm sub that I'm planning on running in my expedition, and I was wondering if this amp would be a decent fit for it. It runs 700 watts RMS at 4 Ohms. From what I've read, since my sub is 2 ohms, this would be a good fit. Is this correct, or am I misinformed?

Based off of all of your help, I got the amp. You guys are a real wealth of knowledge, what with all of the recommendations you gave me.

I can only image what kind of responses I would have garnered if I had posted some vague headline like, "noob needs help with dis amp". The posts sometimes go to two pages or more with those! I'll try to make my thread title more obscure next time!

And this post sums up most of you here apparently. Arrogant assholes.

Of course you're not here to server me, you dumb shit. It's a ****ing forum and I was asking for help.

And please outline for me, in a factual, logical format, how my question was stupid. Next tell me how it was stupid compared to other threads I see that are titled, "amp", or "noob needs help with amp". And in those threads is some complete generic nonsense like, "will this Jensen amp power my W7's??!!11!!!!!!eleventy!!!1"

I made a specific thread so as to not waste everyone's time. And you come in here like you're some sort of god.

Don't worry though, I found a forum where the members actually help people, instead of one where you just go around showing off your speakers in order to make up for your small penis.
