Just picked this amp up a few days ago for $160 rated at 2100 watts rms at 14.4 volts at 1 ohm. Have yet to hook it up in my car (currently in shop) but did hook it up via a computer power supply and clamped close to 400 watts rms at 12 volts at about 4 ohms... now my clamp test wasn't real precise just did a quick test on a 40 hz. I'd be happy if I get anywhere in that range I'm coming from about 300 and paid $125 for that... it'll be a huge step up plus I can now amp my speakers with that old amp (since I was an idiot and bought a 2 channel for my sub) no matter whati should be adding at least 1k to my setup and for the price I can't complain!

Nothing wrong with a 2ch on your sub, i prefer class a/b on subs personally.
