Soundstream DTR1 3400D, Will It do .5ohms all day

Looking for a daily driver amp and this Is looking like everything I need all in one if it will really do .5 ohms and 3400 rms. Has anyone had any experiences with this amp???

Yeah the dtr1.3400d does .5 all day daily. Make sure you have good electrical and 2 good batts with a decent alt. If you are still using your stock alt with an older vehicle which means crappy stock alt 2 batts is a must. You wont get all power outta that amp with a stock alt runnin at .5, the only way is with like 3+ batts kinda pointless just upgrade to a 200 amp alt with 2 batts of its own not counting your starting batt for car and you can pound all day no voltage drops..(Do the BIG 3 also)

Yeah you could run the amp on your stock electrical but you will have to turn the gain down to where you get about half the amps potential.

You can get those amps new on ebay for like $500 shipped which is not bad for the power. If you see a used one I would not pay over $300 plus shipping. They don't hold their value like a Sundown Audio amp would. I have seen plenty of used SAZ 1500D go for $300 shipping price included with a rating 9/10. The sundown saz 1500d are $500 the same price as a dtr1.3400. That is just a reference so you don't get jipped. If you find a 3400d which someone said they opened the box but not ever powered maybe $400 max I would give IMO.

Thanks for this post. I was debating whether to get the 3400 (for a 21" Warden) or 1400 (for a 21" Death Penalty... .). My car... has a 150A Alternator so the 1400 would not kill my car. Thank You "aeroportspwn"

The Dtr is a lot cheaper than $500. The dtr's are very solid amps and do rated actually the 3400 was benched and did slightly more. For what ever reason there dropping in price but imo there one of the best amps for the money. Where can you 2k watts for under $250 do rated and be reliiable

They dropped the price on them because people were confused with vertical mounting even though they can be laid down, just wont look as cool.
