Soundstream Davinci DV-10

Hi,

I have bought a soundstream davinci subwoofer (DV-10) but it didnt come with a manual and i need to build a box for a meet in 3days. I have been emailing soundstream but no joy, they dont have very good customer service! did you try and call soundstream on the phone?

taht would be my first line of attack.

Yeah i did, wouldnt go thru tho. I live in the UK and there is a problem when trying to call.

If you can't find the specs, try it in a 1.5 - 2.0ft^3 box. I can't find the full T/S parameters to be ablt to tell you...

Well im really glad u did! Thanks again! im gonna get building the box. I think im gonna have one side of it clear polycarbonate coz the rear structure looks amazing!

Just planning the box and 0.5 des seem a bit small for this sub. Have u ever heard one at all?

Emailed SS and this is what they said:

FOR THE DV-10 WE RECOMMEND .75 TO 1.0 CUBIC FT. OF AIR SPACE AND A ROUND PORT OF 3in IN DIA. AND 10in IN LENGHT.

But from what I got a .75 is for a DV-12"

Its been years since I heard one, never much into spl.

Ok thats not too bad, im glad they recommend a round port rather than the slot port. So what do you think go in between the 0.75 and 0.5 if u thought the 0.75 was for a 12"? Space for the box is fairly limited as i wound still like some boot space, so a 0.5 would be good. I jus thought it sounded a bit small.
