sorry for the typo
OK so after I went through all the trouble of building a factory spec box for 12s to discover they are loud and none too clean, I gave them back to my brother-in-law.They are collecting dust in his living room.
I spent the money for BBP6. I must say the designs are very cool and has done me right but changing box parameters is a pain. My first task was to design and build something a little more extravagant for the the DV10s.. I came up with 1.5^3 ft tuned to 30 hz. After all this I think they probably shouldn't get a full 1000 WRMS each.. They come very near their limits with 850 watts and sound pretty good for SPL oriented subs. I am feeding the pair with a S.S. EGA1700d. They do go very low which made me happy and for the most part is very accurate though probably not up to par with Sound splinter or ID. I have played with them for close to 2 months listening to everything from Ying Yang twins to Pantera. They have exceeded my expectations by far. Hitting quite clean and with plenty of impact on metal..But seems a bit boomy on the rap end of it, but maybe just because I can't hear myself think.
