Design is much like the AP15001 amp... but this board is a little beefier than that. I have an "1800" board from the same build house and this board has more power supply FETs and caps. Means it will probably do ~2000 on 14.4v / 1 ohm resistive on a test bench.
The new AP amps are also made at a different factory, although, the design is VERY similar. There are 3-4 factories making boards on this design.
I think it's a good budget design - I've tested a BUNCH of amps from this factory over the years. They are no match for a real competition grade amp... but for the $ I think they are pretty decent. I'd take them over alot of other stuff out there in the price range.
