Sorry put this in the wrong section earler.wanted to ask have anyone use this model soundstream before and do it put out it rated power and if so using how many batteries.thanks

i used one in a SM 3-4 car last season, it didnt put out rated power, but i only had 1 nsb 90 on it, the xxx 10 000 is basically a beefed up xxx 6500 with 2x the wiring inside it, they doubled up on the output wiring and power supply wiring, and added a couple more caps. The soundstream xxx amps are VERY voltage dependant, in the sense that to get big power out of them you gotta feed them with high voltage. If you were running a super street setup where you could give them 17v you'll get tons of power, for a street setup, not so good unless you have a couple big batteries. This is just my experience with those amps. They are solid amps tho, if you want a good 3000+ watts on a single 12v battery you'll easily get it, if you want more look at another amp.
