Soundsplinter Rl-I8 enclosure help. Thanks!

I am currently running a single soundsplinter rl-i8 in about a .55 cubic foot ported enclosure tuned to around 42hz by my calculations (I'm not an expert). It has good spl but is lacking the SQ in my opinion, which I assume is due to the enclosure frequency. I would like to build a small to medium size enclosure (because it is in my s2000) utilizing a 4" or 6" flared port tuned to around 30hz. Any recommendation or calculation help would be much appreciated.

I know they recommend a small .25-.65 cubit foot enclosure tuned to 25-35 hz.

My goal would be SQL. Loud but great SQ.

As I said, any input is much appreciated. Thanks.

.65 at 30hz will yield you an F3 around 28hz and be as close to flat from 20 to 100hz as possible however a single 4' flared port is nearly 60" long. no matter how you slice it though tuning that low in a box that small is going to end up with an extremely long port

And a 6" flared port? Haha
