Sounds coming throu subs when headunit is all the way down

Hello guys quick question, thier is sound coming through my subs like a little humming noise when my headunits volume is all the way down. My rca cables are monster, and the amp is grounded. What could possibly be the problem, and how could i fix this. Thanks.

Does the 'humming noise' increase when you rev the engine? What is the head unit you are using? Sounds like alternator whine to me, but I'm not positive.
