Soundestream DTR1.3400D

Ive been looking at the SS Dtr1.3400D and personally it looks amazing. My only concerns are that everywhere I look says it takes 4 gauge power and 8 speaker. That makes me question weather or not it will do rated power. I mean I need around 3000 - 3400 rms and i'd like to run one amp. My thing is I cannot spend more than $550 on the amps. I also don't want to have to buy a new alt and 3 batteries for the amp. I was thinking about 2 RE XT4000DE's which would give me 3200 rms and wouldnt require PERFECT electrical. I'm gonna be running a stock alt for now but I will have an optima yellow top under the hood and 1 or 2 XS D3100's in the back. Anyone got any other alternatives? One amp would be amazing.

That's incorrect, it definitely takes 0 guage. Im not sure what speaker wire it uses but I know that many people on here are happy with those amps and they say that they do rated. Ive got one still sitting new in the box collecting dust that I would sell, PM if youre interested...

Your going to need a alternator for that power no matter what amp you get
