called a abc box and same with the box for the shocker

edit.. both boxes and all 3 ports where tuned to 30... i forgot how to tune them though, its been awhile.. but one chamber is 2/3 and the other is 1/3 of the box

nice.... i tried to race a lightning when i had my crx, and i had it 4th and then it was right on my ***, passed me and it was gone... i mean gone.. he was just playin with me..

The Subwoofer DIY Page Dual-Chamber ported systems

You go into your modeling program, model a ported box that is much larger and tuned lower than what you would normally use. Model up two identical ports for that tuning. Then divide your enlosure into thirds. The main chamber uses 2/3 the Vb, while the secondary chamber uses 1/3 the Vb. If it were a 3 cube box, the main chamber would be 2 cubes while the smaller chamber would be 1 cube.

Even though you modeled up two ports, create THREE identical ones to the size you modeled. So if you modeled two 4" by 10" ports, then you would create three 4" by 10" ports. One port goes in the main chamber exiting into the listening space. The second port goes in the secondary chamber exiting into the listening space. The third port goes between the two chambers. It does not have to be exactly even between the two chambers. You can have the whole port in one chamber and none in the other chamber. All that matters is that you account for the port displacements properly.
