They are recommended for .5cft sealed, each. There's your small box. SQ subs, and handle 300W each. If you get a pair in the single VC configuration, you can get your 2 ohm final load.

OR, I have a pair in the SVC configuration (BNIB), I'll let go of for $75/ea....shipped.

get the dual 8" stealthbox, it will sound much better than putting a box in the trunk

you can deffinately get a used kappa perfect for 80 maybe even a new one if your lucky. The SQ on thoes is crazy good and they are pretty efficient and get loud on not a lot of power. granted i had mine in a relatively large ported box. but supposedly the sound awesome sealed. they kill the lows.

oh cool, i know from experience a box in the trunk of a del sol sounds like crap, but that stealth box was nice. at the time the JL 8's were some of the best, but these days you could probably swap those subs out with something much nicer

good luck, hope your short cause your probably gonna lose some leg room. also not sure how i would like the sub a foot away from my head. would make it very easy to "hear"

it dosent stick out any further then the stock storage compartments.

Also I never put my seat all the way back.
