At this point I can not say. I just know that there is a proto out from HK that I have had the pleasure of listening to for months...its not mine, its in a JBL sponsored SQ car I judge.

The search function over on ECA isn't working...but if I recall correctly JBL has had prototype processor out for a year or two now in less than a handful of vehicles that was supposed to decimate all. Those that had a chance to fondle it weren't allowed to say much about it...other than it would surely be one of the nicest on the market.

Using an RTA will let you know if your system is overemphasizing any frequencies.


This is the device most professionals use to aid in properly adjusting the equalizer, properly level match the system, help select proper xover points, etc.

Its shows the entire usable spectrum of noise and allows you to see the effects you do as you tune your system. Also shows where your system has a weakness.
