Sound quality of Digital Design's DD1510's?

why not just get a HD3 or a 9500 12 or 15, for pure shock factor, if you have that 2000 watts on tap.

I wouldn't push more than 600 to each 1500, I have a friend who runs 2500's and says they get warm with 750 watts for extended playing. It all depends on you though and how you are on the gains...

No clue what his box is tuned to.

My biggest problem is keeping size down. I mean, I'm driving a Mustang, which doesn't have the biggest trunk. Small opening, and not very deep. That's why I was going with 10's. I MIGHT be able to manage 12, but I'd honestly have to measure my trunk, it'll be a tight squeeze.

I'd go with a DD3510. No point in having a pair of DD1510 when a single DD3510 would perform better. Just my biased opinion.

yes he has 3 12s in there with a false floor that holds 2 amps and a battery. When you look into his trunk between the lid hinges the box is that whole are with the subs facing the rear bumper, port running along the bottom and amps sunk into the floor, it was actually easy to do.

Hm, found it. What if I'm only throwing, say, 800-900 each on them on the streat, and just pushing it all through in competitions? I'd rather a SQ setup, but one that can still get loud.

So...HD3 series or DD3500 series?

I would say a single HD3 12 with all the amps power will be a great Daily Driver with good SQ again its install dependant you cant expect Sq out of an SPL design, simple solution get with jeremiah25 or DJL on here and speak with them they have the most experience DJL is the owner of AQ by the way.

Well, I just measure my trunk, it goes from about 15" to 9" tall the farther back you go, and anywhere from 44" to 36" wide.

I don't know if you know what I"m talking about, but there's a big black panel, not quite sure what it's doing, other than maybe protecting the rears and holding up the stock amps. I'm taking out the stock amps today, as they're not doing anything right now, and I"ll drop down that panel to see what it's doing.

If all it's doing is protecting the rears, then I can do without it, right? I mean, I'm even planning on taking out the rears, atleast the mids.
