Sorry to keep buggin all of you but im just clueless.. Im trying to come up with a decent system, I've been reading and reading and theres just so many options to choose from. I've got my new setup for lows downpat. I'm gonna go 2 Shiva Mark 3's and a Revolution D1500.1 amp. ok.. now the hard part.. New 6x9's and 6.5 Component set. I've been heavily looking into Infinity, but from what ive been reading its a mixed decision. Some people think they rock, and some people think they dont cut it. I was thinking about getting the 60.5's for the front components, the 693.3's for the rear, and a good Pioneer 400w 4ch amp to run them on. Can I get some input on that?... Do you think they would reproduce the mid-range good?.. Or should I look into something else? Thanks a lot... -- Theo

The Infinity Perfects are great, so are the MB Quarts, but some people think the tweets are way to harsh, some dont. If it were MY decision, I'd probably try the new Adire Kodas, which are supposed to just be kick-***.

If you want good imaging and SQ forget the 6x9's and put the money towards the front components. If you don't really care about all that and you just want a car full of loud and clear music then keep the 6x9's. It boils down to what YOU want.

Keep in mind, especially with the front compenents, that installation is everything. If you just slap them in the doors and expect them to rock hard you're gonna be dissappointed. HOWEVER, if you sound deaden, do some trial listening sessions with your new spkrs in differnet positions, utilize some of what you've been reading (maybe put the tweets up high on the A pillars and the 6.5's in a fiberglass enclosure or just a well SDed door, then you'll be much happier in the end.

If all that just sounds like more then you were looking to get into, then just SD the doors real good, SD the rear deck and trunk and put your spkrs in the factory spots. It won't win competitions, but it'll still be a vast improvement over what you have now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks everyone for the input!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I like sound coming from behind me just a "smidgen" more than from in front of me. I went and listened to some MB Quarts today and a local shop. They're not really for my liking, they have too much treble for my hears to take. I know the rear sony 6x9's have got to go, so my plans thus far are... To try the Koda's.. From what ive read they seem to be in high praise, but for some reason no one I talked to today at any car shop has heard of adire audio.. I really want to give them a try so im gonna get a set of Kodas when they come for sale. Im gonna deaden the doors while I have the panels off, As for the custom work that's a little bit outta my league.. I thnk just deadening will work for me. And for rear 6x9's I think im gonna get the Alpines, I heard a set of these today and they just rock my world lol.. But thanks again everyone, All of you have helped me so much as I am very new to this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
