You guys are killing this kid. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Newbie:
Each one of your subs has two voice coils - each voice coil has one positive, and one negative connector.
One of the voice coils (set of 1 positive and 1 negative) needs to be wired "in series" - this means connect a short piece of wire from one positive to one negative connector.
So here's the sub:
Before:
After:
In the diagram, **** is one wire.
Do the same thing on the other subwoofer.
Now you have two subs, and each one of them has it's positive connected to it's negative.
Now, connect the postive on the "box plug" to the unused positive on the woofer. Do the same with the negative.
Wire the other sub to the box the same way.
Now you have two subs inside a box. They are connected to the box plug (called a Terminal Cup, by the way)
Connect a wire to the positive terminal on the terminal cup.
Connect another wire to the other positive terminal on the terminal cup.
Twist the other end of those two wires together.
Do the same thing with the negative terminals.
Now, on your amp you might see:
o o o o
+___-
bridged
The "o" are the wire terminals. The +____- and "bridged" will be printed on the amp, below those terminals.
Connect the negative set of two wires (that are now twisted together) to the negative terminal on the amp, as indicated by the "bridged" diagram.
Same with the positive.
Congratulations. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
