I purchased some kciker comp vr's they are 2 ohm. i dont understand the wireing diagram for the voice coil, because i am a little dumb. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wallbash.gif.1310150c49dd52e0fbe1813a0681e5c3.gif Each speaker has 2 positives(red) and 2 negatives (black). Please just tell me what i have to run to each and then to the plug inside the box. I really need this info as soon as possible since im going to install in about an hour with one of my smarter freinds.

Thanks,

Jonathan

what kinda amp is it?

if they are dual 2s it isnt going to matter

if u have 2 subs that have 2 coils and each coil is 2 ohms you need to do this

the amp is 2 ohm. Im sorry but i dont understand that diagram since the speaker box has its own + / - for each sub. that only shows the conncetion to one outlet for the box. I know these might be self explanatory and im sorry for the retarted questions i just want to have everythign right..

Thanks again people

Jonathan

first on the sub, wire the positives together then wire the negatives together, + to + and - to -. then take a wire from the positive and negative side of the sub to the box, do the other sub the same way.

Next connect the negative wires leaving the box together, do the same for the positive wires leaving the box, then simply hook them to the amp.

and im guessing this is a mono amp meaning a single channel

bad idea. with dual 2's wouldnt that leave him with .5??? i thought his amp was 2 ohm stable? what u want to do is wire the + from one of your voice coils to the - of the other one, then take the remaining + to the speaker box terminal, and the remaining - to the terminal. do the same on the other sub. then from the outside of the box(or inside, but outside would be easier to understand if u r visualizing it), wire the + together and the - together, then connect each to the amp and u will have a 2 ohm load.

but they can be wired to 2 ohms-final load

937DYTBOI is wrong...that would be a .5 ohm load though

if you're confused i would only use one terminal cup for the amp

exactly,,,,u need to wire the speaker series + to - on the coils like the diagram then since u have 2 terminals on the box just parallel those two wires coming out of the box + to+, - to- that will connect the subs to one channel then wire to the amp 2ohm load,,,understand. just do it like the diagram except connect the 2 wires outside the box in to one. like the diagram,,,get it???

ok i connected the + to + and - to- and then ran one- to the back of the box termianl and the same for the +. The speakers are moving but really soft like not thumping at all. what do i do. do i just hook up + to - and then run the remaining ones to the terminal of the box? Please help im so fustrated....

Thanks,

Jonathan

i hate cvr's terminal positions. they have the four (2 +'s and 2 -'s) terminals all evenly spaced, so visualizing a diagram like that gets confusing.

if you have a DMM just use that to make sure you have it right.
