Sorry...2 Kicker CVR12s, ported or sealed?

I have a ported box that's too small for them and I want to upgrade soon...what should I go with? I've heard systems with sealed and ported boxes and when done right they all sound right. I'm kind of leaning towards sealed though as they're easier to tune for (w/a parametric EQ+Q factor control) and they go lower into the frequency range. I listen to a lot of rap and r&b and have a 93 Honda Accord btw. What do you think I should go for?

UHHH depends. BIG boom go with ported, if u like cleaner sound Sealed.

seems to me like you have your midn made up about going sealed.

im not too sure of the trunk space in a 93 accord, but if you got enough space you can make a ported box for the subs and tune it low. yes a ported box is harder to design, tune and configure, but in the end you can gain quite a bit of output over a sealed box.

and prefer sealed,2 12s should sound great if you power them up O Plenty
