For some reason I assumed the OP wanted a laptop but if you're looking for a new desktop definitely build it yourself, you'll save tons of money and it's not that difficult, there's a few users on here that can help you (including me) if you need it.

your right, linux isnt exactly user friendly, odds are if your getting viruses left and right, you couldnt even handle the knowledge needed to run linux..just run a good firewall and anitvirus..

i run 3 diff distros of linux on two diff computers running, windows7 and a dsitro of redhat on this laptop... i like linux but i prefer windows7.. i used linux alot more when xp was out tho..

And it will only cost 50$ to build at a computer shop but than I think I have to buy windows 7 cause he won't build "illegal"

Are all those parts compatible? I read the fine print...

Yeah that looks like a pretty decent rig. You might save some money by buying stuff individually but that's definitely not a ripoff. I wouldn't pay anyone $50 to put it together though. Honestly the hardest part of building a computer is just picking your parts, the actual assembly shouldn't take you more than an hour. (30 minutes if you know what your doing).

IMO, the hardest part of assembling a computer yourself is that means you will also be the one installing the operating system, all drivers, updating it all, and tackling any software compatibility issues that might arise from this process. The hardware aspect is cake, if like bubba suggests, you purchase the right components. But the software side can be fairly time consuming and confusing if you dont have a lot of experience.

As far as that combo I seriously doubt OP needs a 2600k for anything get a 2500k & save yourself $100.

Yeah but honestly Windows takes care of most of that stuff these days anyway. You might have to handle some drivers and whatnot but with a basic understanding of computers that's not difficult either. Holic's definitely right on one thing, you really won't have any support, you'll have to maintain it yourself, if something goes wrong there's no 800 number to call, lol.

I dont think you know how to pirate if you get a dl. All the comments and certain things about the files you dl give a pretty clear image of if its a legit downloads or not. Good luck!

OP i can prob send you an invite to demonoid if you wanna expand your selection a little more lol. it's not a private tracker but there are quite a bit less amounts of viruses compared to TPB where anyone can upload stuff

It also helps to look at how many seeders there are for the file. If there are a lot, then it usually means its of decent quality and legit.
