um...they **** lol....buy a pair of kicker cvrs if you want a budget subwoofer....sony is crap its that simple....i like there decks just not the subs...as i use to own a pair..so i know.lol

the coils seize easily, the cones are crap, the power handling is false, they are overpriced, and they dont hit hard in even the nicer of the boxes.

You're getting reasons. Their subs are poorly made, can handle no power, sound like shit, and are overall poorly made overpriced junk.
