a little after 1 minute...
and its not like its supposed to be huge window shattering flex...but its flex, and for two 12's that most people would consider 'shit', in sealed prefabbed boxes, you can't really deny that its impressive.

I will deny it....not impressive at all considering that for the same monies you can do better

Enlighten me, I've never seen or heard of better than that for under 200$ including subs/amp/box/wiring kit (all shipped). It cost me a total of 170...

Obviously I could get some btl's or 9500's for nothing if I got lucky gettin em used, and building a box is still a cost, thats like saying if you work for 10 unpaid hours for someone and he gives you a 100$ gift you got it for free. And either way, lets see it in action.

Edit: plus if i ditched the prefabbed boxes thats minus 60 bucks... now lookin at about 110 total.

Obviously I could get some btl's or 9500's for nothing if I got lucky gettin em used, and building a box is still a cost, thats like saying if you work for 10 unpaid hours for someone and he gives you a 100$ gift you got it for free. And either way, lets see it in action.

I got nothing free....paid for all of it at online prices, then designed and built the box

looked at the vids, and its pretty clear that the sonys are performing at LEAST comparably...for significantly less money...probably louder if you take into account the fact that they are SEALED in non-optimal boxes, vs. yours which are ported in a box specifically designed for them, plus using double the space.

plus mine are in the trunk of a car vs in the main cabin with yours, ur getting much less loss from barriers

looked at the vids, and its pretty clear that the sonys are performing at LEAST comparably...for significantly less money...probably louder if you take into account the fact that they are SEALED in non-optimal boxes, vs. yours which are ported in a box specifically designed for them, plus using double the space.

We're talking about loudness vs price...and mine seem to beat yours at both (assuming mine were in an optimized box) though its hard to tell for sure through videos. I'd say its safe to say in a proper enclosure mine would be at least AS loud as yours, and at half the price...

and sure, you probably have better SQ, but its not like mine aren't acceptable sound quality, especially for someone much more concerned with output

I've actually heard a few times that the subs you're using can have a sort of plastic sounds sometimes in them either clicking or tapping. Unsure which is was, but.. never heard that from the sonys. Either way, if you're wanting to compare, find similar rides, installs and put up numbers from them. there are duds in every line of car audio...just because someone got a lemon and told you about it doesn't mean that is how they are

also notice my tuning is below that of anyone else, thus sq and not tuned for spl and they are still louder than yours
