How good is my Sony XM-4060GTX compared to the Alpine MRP-P300?

I'm running a Alpine 9811(soon to be Pioneer 6100), Sony XM-4060GTX, Kenwood 8104D (soon to be Alpine M1000), Image Dynamics IDMAX 12", 6 1/2 Alpine Type-S(2), and 6x9 Alpine Type-S(2).

I have the opportunity to get an Alpine MRP-F300 at a really good price, and I'm try to figure out if it's worth it. I'm looking for the best possible sound quality possible. I'm aware that the general consensus will probably be Alpine in general over anything Sony. But if I got the Alpine would I be able to discern a difference in sound?

I realize at this point, my speakers are probably holding me back the most, but I plan on getting some better ones sometime in the future, for now they are and have been fine, wholly because they don't handle any bass, but it is not bass I want to get out of my inside speakers, it is more refinement, detail, clarity, and all those things that go under SQ.

So, should I ditch the Sony (and by ditch I mean donate it to a friend), and get the Alpine, or would it really not make a difference?
