I was thinking about getting that Model but I got a HU that surpasses that one...the JVC KD-SHX700
Thank you. Someone isn't afraid to think for themselves. I have a CDX MP40. Its a decent plate with some nice features. It looks clean and does everything I need. Ive had zero problems, I would buy another Sony HU but this one has got me covered. Paid 150 back when it was "newer". If you wanna step it up Alpine, Pioneer, and Clarion seem to be on the ball. OH yeah. Im wondering if anyone has the Sony CDX-M9900, that screen looks real sharp up close in personal. Clean. Any problems with them? good experiences? I might consider that bad boy if I get enough little scrapes on my face plate. Didn't sony invent the CD???I don't believe that there is anything wrong with the lower end Sony decks, I've installed many of them including the so called dreaded xplod line and I've never had one that just up and "failed". My personal opinion is that all these people are complaining about the decks because of something that someone else said and people are jumping on the bandwagon or it was user error or in most cases plain old fashioned poor installation......... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I once installed 4 low end sony hu's in a day. 3 were lemon. Replaced all 3 under warranty (All three had the same pickup problem). 1 was a lemon again. Replaced. Haven't heard from the 4 for some time now.as long as they work.....the bottom of the line ones are the ones that scare me
there are plenty of better choices
Never seen a Sony dishwasher though I had a Panasonic vacuum once. Both make a pretty fair TV....that aren't the blatently in-your-face "Hey we also make dishwasher" type companies ala Sony or Panasonic
A buddy of mine has a matched pair of Kenwood electric space heaters. Fujitsu Ten is into all kinds of products. My '81 C10 P/U had a pretty nice Alpine alarm.and opt for some people who do solely audio like Pioneer or Kenwood or Eclipse or Alpine.
I had not been of the opinion that any of the above-mentioned companies were relative unknowns. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifAlso, going with a less recognizable kind of adds to the originallity of making it your system in my opinion.
Now...there's good news //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifHell, I'm running a JVC six preamp in my dad's car which I got for $5 and it's lasted a year and a half and sounds great.
