Those ones won't have very good mid bass, if you want a more filled out mid range I suggest the OPTI6PM...plus the kevlar cone is really **** lol

i just got a pair of these Peerless 832444 4-1/2" Shielded Midbass Driver 4 Ohm with a pair of these 2" Treated Paper Cone Tweeter for my beater toyota pickup. now just need some supa cheap 4khz crossovers

Not really sure, lol. I was wanting to fab up some MTM bookshelves and possibly sell those. Since the Sony's have a sort of square mounting flange, using a truncated tweeter like the Sinar Baja that's on sale at madisound would be a nice fit...have everything sitting tight together, and it won't need to be very high. I'll have to see how high the mid can play, and if I can count on the rolloff to be smooth enough to not need to filter it. Then just throw a simple cap on the tweeter to do a first order crossover at ~6khz to fill the top end out.

The mid has a nasty hump in the 5-6kHz range.....falls off fast above the 6kHz peak. I made a video of free-air pink noise response at 1m on axis for the review on PE, but it would not upload for whatever reason.
