would a 760 watt pioneer sub be ok for the sony xplod 12' 1100 watt sub. the rms rating on the sub is only 350. i have a ford ranger so not a whole lot of power is required. thanks
Why did you waste your money on a plastic sub. And yes that amp( not sub)LOL is ok for that sub cause ur gonna run it a 2 ohm and the rms for that amp is probably 200rms.
Dont buy that crap again. OK
Next time u have 400 bucks ask the guys here what to invest before goin to walmart.
take it easy man
He already has it, it's his sub, his amp, his truck and the only person that has to be happy with it is him. So if he is happy with it, that's all that matters. As far as the amp being too much for the sub, we would have to know the RMS specs on the amp, and what ohm your sub is.Why did you waste your money on a plastic sub. Ma bad for the the aggressive reply .Your amp is 760 max. probab 200rms
RMS is the continuoes power handling of a woofer. This is more important that peak power handling. This goes for the amp as well. You provide an amp for your woofer according to its rms handling. Go check the rms of your amp. and post it back up here.
