I know sony ain't the best but I have 1 and a friend is gonna give me another. Does any1 know about what size of ported box they use if at all. The manual says .78 cu ft sealed but nothing about ported. It doesn't sound too bad now and its in a 1.4 cu ft box.

assmuming they are 12's, for 2 of them id say around 3.0-3.5 cu ft would be okay. idk about tuning i would figure with a sub like that tune pretty high

I'd probably put them in 2.5 to 3 cubes.

Yeah bro if you are getting them for free you might as well run them. I would do 3 cubes tuned to 37 to 40 hertz
