yes very minor but the point is that i worked hard on that thing and and i take pride in what i do. and what i have.. BUt the good part is that once i round the edges and put the vinyl on it the box you wont be able to tell

Silicone may react with the surround...bad idea.

Pick up a tube of the black windshield replacement adhesive made by 3m and apply it on the back side of the slice through the surround.

If you don't care what it looks like...I've used SuperGlue Jell. doesnt look that great, but it kept one of my 10's together

it wont even hurt anything, its like 1/4" long slit. id leave it
