Son of a B*tch.....

So the threads on the screw and amp are still in tack? That is usually what is referred to as stripped. If it is just the head that is F'ed up any of the methods mentioned above such as securing an allen wrench it would work. Or you could go to Sears and get there extractor tool and call it a day.

extractor tool, drill hole and tap a flathead into it, or superglue something to it and turn

thats the order i woudl try to get that out

then home depot is for you my friend to find a new bit.... (hint, find urself a 1inch long bolt thatll fit)

get a dremel, small or large fiberglass cut off wheel, easily shave head off the screw, or use with small cut off wheel even though its between smaller metal wire seperators, the screw will fall thru since it has no head, then retap, or just put another slightly bigger screw and it will thread itself. problem solve..

or get a long nose pliers, push the bottom of the screw up, pinching together with the metal tab, then use screwdriver.

ps. many different ways to do it. but you will need a slightly bigger new screw, since the threads are gone.

i dont know if it'll work but maybe superglue the allen inside the screw and the unscrew it. But then you'll have a screw on the tip of the allen

Also, if the connection box is made of plastic that surrounds the screw the glue will eat through the plastic, I would not recommend using that.

Drill out the screw like has been mentioned or try pressure under the screw and slowly try to bring it up. Does Hifonics have removable screw boxes like other high end crossover boxes and amps?

Before you take some of these weird *** suggestions, use the extractor bits.

They come with the drillbit corresponding to the size extractor you are using. I've used these many times.

Sell the amp and get away from Hifonics...
Yea, good one dumbass. This is a XX Hercules. Go away.
