Somewhat Ignorant question...

If I was to run my comp's of my HU like a Avic D3 or alpine w205 would it be heard somewhat or is it absolutely needed to get an amp for comps?

They will work fine, just don't expect miracles. It would be more accurate to say that coaxes and an amp will often sound better than higher dollar speakers run off a head unit, dollar for dollar.

Well I mean im already going to be running a ZRS-10 on my stock electrical thats why I worried to get comps because the amp I would need to power them. My alt is a 150A, pretty decent for stock. Im thinking to add another batt in the back.

Sweet thanks I was really skeptical about doing it but know im going to add a second batt and then get the amp for the comps. I was thinking to run pg rsd's because they are in my price range.

EDIT: Btw for those of you that do not know, the zrs-10 puts out 2500@1ohm so hopefully your responses were based off of that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

- If it's class D you should be able to add a few hundered watts.
