something to amp the 4'' front speakers

Well, of those two amps you linked to I would go with the JBL as i just haven't been impressed with Pioneer's entr-level stuff lately //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Most everyone I know that has used them reported reliability issues wherein long before you would think unit failure might be apt to set in one channel or another would quit or some other problem would rear its ugly head. Seemingly it isn't an isolated issue as I know more than a couple of people that stated the same experience with theirs.

Edit:

Bear in mind I know a bunch of people that really have no business trying to install any audio gear and that may play a large role in the eventual loss of complete functionality. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

meh... it's 4" comps.... I'd say just go reliable and forget the rest... the cheaper the better since even if you spent an assload on the comps and amps you wouldn't be expecting much...

I vote for the JBL
