More like the quality of the install. Theres much more to it then the quality of the subs, the subs are like 25% of the equation.

You can go with a single ported DD 2510 they only come in Dual 4's but you can put 1200+ RMS to it daily....Or a pair of DD 1008's That is what i'm putting in my 06 Tacoma behind the rear seat if I can get the magnet to clear...really limited space //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif For handbuilt subs...those are reasonable priced...for that matter roughly $150 you can get a brand new DD 1010 They can handle 800RMS and get low...and loud...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Your right the subs are about 25% of the install...but DD's have a proven track...Take Mike Jones with just 5 15"DD's at 178db's.....How many others 5 subs can even think about the power he puts to his? Almost any out there would shred the cone before you ever heard sound....

diZZZZZZam thats crazy. right now i think im gunna buy my buddys mtx9512 for now ; $250 for that subs is lookin pretty good for me.

My last setup I looked for exactly what you are looking for. I wanted low low frequencies. Im talking where you can actually feel the sub 10-20hz, lower than my 15HC in a sealed box did. My car moved. Find yourself an Avalanche and build a atleast a 3cu ft sealed box. Make sure the box doesnt flex and seal it to perfection. I had to glue gun about half of the screw holes after my sub was in. This setup was too low for me though. I listen to strictly rock and lost a lot of kick from the sub. The quiter low notes would always greatly over power any other bass frequencies. Im going back to a smaller box, but it might work for you depending on what genres of music you enjoy.
