I have to agree 110% with this. Thats why ive already joined SIN. Alot more reasonable threads and questions and so forth on there than here. Also to add my 2 cents, I think that after 1-2 months of non-activity, as in not being on the site whatsover, or maybe even not posting at least trying to help someone, then their account should be erased. Dont you guys think this is a good idea? I just wish that I could change my user name on here instead of 80_Cutlass_mn, im tired of it.

Agreed, the quality of threads has declined a bit. The site design and layout (not to mention speed) are all arguably the best of any of the car audio forums. Unfortunately, it seems a lot of the "experts" are heading to other forums as a result of so many newbie posts on here lately. But it is part of the cycle.. members who were newbies a year ago (such as myself) are starting to be able to help out the new batch of newbies, while the veterans are moving on.

Perhaps a forum on here dedicated to in-depth technical discussion that is carefully moderated might help?

My biggest beef is that with many quality people leaving ... some people are getting wrong information about a product ... and it's hard to beat the 9000 people who don't know positive from negative to the thread.

Seems to be after the "moderation thing" about a year ago is when I stopped coming in . Dont know why Just did , Got to be to much BS round hear . Just recently started coming back and I was like dahm where did everybody go . Hardly nobody that was here then is here now . I use to have fun here . Now I dont think so . Dunno know how to help . No, just little immature children with erectile difficulties, who happen enjoy pissing off their neighbours by playing their music loud in residential areas late at night, stiffen the noise laws, and then I get nailed with a ticket - ain't life dandy.

Well I personally think its still a great place but it just gets annoying when the same question is asked every single day it seems like. Thats what has made me not come here so often anymore and now im on at SIN as well and I dont hardly ever see the same thread over and over there.

So once I'm on break I'll start working on my Industrial Themed install. Should be pretty nice when its all done...depending on how well I'm able to bend the aluminum tubing.

I come to this forum...but not expecting much, only if I see a post by geo or Loyd or Dustin will I stop to read it.

Now I find myself over at soundhertz ,carsound(for IASCA and SLAP news) and termpro more, and sometimes caraudioforum if I feel "saucy".

It sucks to see you go, maybe sometime in the future the forum will go back to "the good 'ol days" as y'all say it used to be.

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!! That's where it's at. Although a little "gayier" if you know what I mean, but thats what makes a forum, a good sense of humor. I, like everyone else here, used to post everyday, like a good 5 or so times, but now there's mindless topics, and I couldn't care less for these newbs asking about "I don't care about money, what the best sub" crap. Although, I do like the layout, and everything, but like the Admin said, it's all about the type of ppl that post. See ya on SIN.

I havent been on theforums in months and now that I've come back in the past few days this palce sucks..The people are immature and talk about nothing relating to audio really..I cant blame dustin for leaving, maybe some off the old forum users need to come back and make things good again..I dunno but immaturity and ignorance have really let these forums go to S H I T..I think I'll just stick to my mustang forums unless I need to find some audio for sale! Maybe some of u can change things back to the way they used to be.
