Meth Bugs are hallucinations caused by food/sleep deprivation and by meth itself. Bugs under skin is more well known hallucination. But a 3+ day binge rivals acid, in visuals hallucination intensity and random development. Food/ Sleep deprivation causes major mental shutdown and can fry brain and & is potentially fatal.

yep. exactly. The ones that people think they see under their skin are the worst. They go to great lengths to try and get them out.

I see people come in the store with knife wounds on their arms and legs from trying to get the "bugs" out.

and For the people that smoke weed, I'm on your side there. I wish they would legalize it. Weed is not risky. If you know your source, then you know that it hasn't been laced with anything. You can't od from weed, and it has actually been medically prooven to be good for your health.

exactly! you can smoke all night and just stay high.... although i'm sure if you sat in a closed up car that was tightly sealed and kept lightin up blunts... it could possibly kill you after a while. But hmmm, dont think so?

I'm not sure what race you are, but what if it was illegal for you to drink in a certain water fountain, and you got arrested for trying. Would that still be okey dokey?

I never said it was wrong (although I do think it's utterly childish and worthless), I simply pointed out the wonderful things that can happen to you if you use it......you know, getting fired, going to jail, etc etc

There is absolutely nothing similar between dicrimination and segregation based on the color of your skin, and the illegality of a pointless and worthless drug used recreationally. Frankly you'd either need to be painfully ignorant or mentally handicapped to even try to lump them into the same category or claim they are somehow similar.

Then please, explain the correlation. Is your life being hampered in some way because you can't walk down the street smokin' a joint? Are you made to sit in the back of the bus, or get kicked off of a bus, because you like to smoke dope? Are you assaulted on the street because you like to smoke dope? Do people burn down your house and ruin your possessions because you like to smoke dope? Do you find burning crosses in your yard and have threats made on you and your families life because you like to smoke dope? Are not allowed in certain stores because you like to smoke dope? Were you forced into a sub-standard school system, and likewise receive a sub-standard education because you like to smoke dope? Were you only allowed to shop in the stores of the poorest quality because you like to smoke dope?

Please, tell me how horrible it is to not be able to smoke dope where ever you like, or buy it where ever you want. Please tell me how it in any way, shape or form is even remotely anything like civil rights. Or heck, maybe next you'll explain how your not being allowed to smoke dope legally is just like the Holocaust? Or hell, maybe your Jesus....you'll be a martyr for all potheads!

Yeah look up where other drug-related threads went...it's not pretty.

I'll leave the majority of my side-comments out. But i will NEVER use ANY drugs. I might drink alcohol when i'm of legal age. Yup, and i still have TONS of fun.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I take spkrman's comment as "just because it's illegal doesn't make it wrong", not "I'm getting screwed as badly as a black person before civil rights".

He has a valid point there. Pot is illegal, fine. Illegal != bad. You can say "oh look, your gonna get arrested for it, blah blah", but that does not have anything to do with how right the act is, it could (in this case, imo) mean that the law is in the wrong.

I know that the kind they make here uses starting fluid (ether) and lye. lye is for unclogging drains.

Go back and reread what he wrote. He is trying to create a parallel between the discrimination and segragation of blacks and his inability to legally smoke dope which absolutely does not exist. Read the quote in my sig; he says they are the SAME THING and that the law is UNJUST. His inability to smoke dope legally is NOTHING like civil rights issues, they don't even belong is the same paragraph together. Discrimination and segregation of colored people was a moral, ethical and constitutional issue......the legalization of pot is a societal values issue. If he wants to try to use alcohol and prohibition in his arguements for the legalization of pot, then more power to him......but to try to relate it somehow to civil rights is just absurd and foolish, and quite degrading to those who lived through and suffered during the civil rights era.
