alright I'm purchasing a pioneer premier DEH-P680MP HU and rainbow SLC components for the front. no rear fill for me, and i will be purchasing a sub in the near future. I need suggestions on an amp to buy to go with my new system. I know close to nothing about amps as i am new to car audio scene. help please!

Well you have the option of just running one 4 channel - front channels for the comps, rear channels bridged to the sub. Any 100x4 amp should suit you just fine. Many choices out there for $300 to be honest...don't even know where to begin. Oh wait, yes I do...get one of the new Eclipse XA4000's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif full range class D, nice footprint, SSF, top mounted controls, 125w up front + 350w bridged to the sub.
