Some small help please

It seems I have, due to installing a cheap radio in my car, been asked to find, I believe the correct term is head unit for my buddy's car. His CD player portion of the radio has died and he was taken with the USB feature of my radio and would like one with that. However, he also has one of those radios that displays gas mileage, temp ect and wants that also. I came across a couple of those as I was searching for my radio but I never paid much mind to that as my car doesn't have those particular bells and whistles.

So my question is: As I look for one for my buddy what jargon should I look for that would tell me that this particular unit has the ability to display gas mileage, temp and ect.
