some problems....

installed the new HU today....

Problem 1: not getting any sound out of ANY of my speakers.

Problem 2: Kicker amp will NOT turn on, but lanzar does, no sound though

Problem 3: still not saving settings. need to run a wire from my battery to my HU for standby power.

well if you kicker amp is not turning on, it probably is not getting power. might wana check that.

and if the kicker is powering speakers. of course you wont have sound if the amp is not on

and the thick Yellow wire on your HU needs constant power. and red wire goes to switched.

well the HU is operating on switched power then... cause that ish goes off when the truck is turned off

Lanzar amp is on, so subwoofer should be on, but it's not

Funny thing is.... the circuit breaker I have broke... everything works now, the Lanzar's light was using remote power... rofl

I mean, it goes off, I lose all settings, everything.... like, every time I turn the thing off it's like unplugging it

You should have an orange or yellow lead for memory. If you don't have a connection for it in your dash then maybe you could run it to your fuse box and jump it to something that's always live, like your cigarette lighter or dome light.

it's the yellow wire, the orange one is for illumitation.

yellow I ran a wire off of a fuse on my distribution block so it saves my settings....
