ok, my friend has a big ass 1991 caddilac devile

the mother****ing devider from the back seat to tha trunk is solid steal theres no ports at all, or should i port it?

right now i have a shitty set up and am looking for a new set up

right now i have a audifonix digital max amp (800 watts) and 2 lightining audio subs in a seald hatch back box faceing the rear of the trunk now i was suprized how hard it hits

and when it hits to herd my amp cuts out why?

im just posting this becase i know there is a million and 2 ideas for this and want to know if theres a way to get new subs amp ect... or a way to port the trunk for better spl

I would replace the amp, the subs I have never heard so I don't know how they sound. If you put them into a bandpass box you can run the ports through the rear deck to let the bass permeat the interior without having to cut the metal divider. That what I would do anyway.

well lightning audio is owned by the rockford corperation which owns rockford fosgate as well....so the subs should be alright...as for the amp....heh....never heard of that one...so i would replace the amp....and match the rms from the amp to the rms speaker handling and i would stay away from the bandpass box they may be louder at the frequency they are tuned at they sound muddy and crappy at other frequencys....go w/ a regular ported box w/ good amount of internal space and see about getting rid of that divider or doing something else about it.....good luck
