I am looking for a decent dd head unit that has good quality bluetooth for phone calls. Ones I have read up on, a few few jvc units people all have complained about the blue tooth quality being very bad to the point they just don't use it. Any recommendations on some decent units?

just need ipod control, preouts for a few amps, steering wheel control option would be nice, siruis sat would be good (do they make a unit like this that will allow you to pause sirius btw?)

Check out the avh-4300 I here its a pretty decent Hu and budget friendly

Single or double?

If single.. Kenwood KDC-X995 is good. If you want a great HU for SQ but with basically no features, there's always the Alpine CDA-117, where you have to buy the BT module and stuff.

Some of the JVC Arsenal's aren't bad I think, alot of features for the money definitely.

I ended up going with the new Pioneer AVH-P4400BH, I first ordered the 4300DVD that was recommended but saw the new model and it has everything in it I wanted.. just hope it works as well as it looks. I called Pioneer to see if it was even released yet and they said not until spring of this year to the best of his knowledge (customer service person). Pacific Audio has them listed in stock though, I did not believe it so I called them today and they said they in fact have them, they were one of the first to get em.. so who knows.. we'll see.. as it shipped out today. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well glad you came to a decision. For what it's worth, I have a Kenwood x-994 and the bluetooth features are excellent, and clarity is outstanding. It's a single din, but I would imagine similar Kenwood DDin units would be comparable.
