Some amp/speaker questions

So I recently got a compotent set. CDT Audio CL-61A. It has 2 6.5" door speakers and 2 tweeters. So what kinda of amp would I need? Like a XXX.2 or XXX.4? And do you reccommend an amp to power speakers?

2 channel if you want to use the passive crossovers that came with the set. 4 channel if you would like an active set up, but you will need a crossover capable head unit or external crossover to set them up active.

get a 2 channel, both the mid and the tweet plug into the crossover and from there the crossover is plugged into the amp, so you only need 1 channel per side.

Well yeah I have the crossovers that came with it. What is the difference really? What way is better..?

Easiest is the 2 channel with the passive crossovers. Active will sound better if you know what you are doing. Most are just fine with a 2 channel amp though.
