i am planning to buy a kicker solobaric L7 15inches...is this sub an SQ or SPL sub? i am planning to make an sq setup...thanks

Depends on the box. IMHO they are more SPL oriented than SQ oriented. But, in the proper sized sealed box they can sound pretty good.

If you want SQ out of them, go with a larger sealed box.

yeah....it depends on the box...but i've always seen L7's as SPL...

im runnin mine more for SPL but the SQ is not horrible. Double drums for rap are ok, but man on the bass lines its loud and low.
