solobaric vs. eclise

which sub is better the eclispe sw108.4 10in sub or the solobaric L7 12in sub. i Im planning on gettin one of these which would be better? I have a 1000 watt amp to push them. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on what your looking for. The eclipse will have superior sq and the kicker superior spl. Also, define 1000 watt amp. Is it pyramid 1000 watt or hifonics 1000 watt???

If your looking for pure loudness get an L7 or an L5. If its on a tight budget check out this thread for help on a new amp because you need one.

What is wrong with that amp? So the L7 will hit harder than that eclipse. and how much does that eclipse weigh?L7?

Without a doubt go with the L7 if you just want them to get loud

I love my eclipse sub and it gets plenty loud for me. It weighs a ton but an L7 will weigh more. If your looking for pure spl you will want to get the L7.

L7 hands down for SPL, definately port it and tune low.

the prestige amp is made by audiovox, it is a mono class d 1000watt amplifier, thats all i know. When i get a new amp, what sub will end up hittin harder.
