SoloBaric "C" series....

Got Bass?
I just downloaded the manual to my newfound sub which is the old school Solobaric "C" series. It said that it is designed to be in a small sealed enclosure .66 cubic ft. Not recomended to be ported. Does anyone remember this series? It was way before I got into audio. Just looking for opinions and any info I can get on them.

If you can catch Polecat logged in he's our resident Kicker guru and would be the best qualified (most likely) to ask about some old-school Kicker gear.

He provided me with a spec-sheet for some old Kicker stand-alone tweeters I have had for who knows how long that I could find absolutely ZERO info on by searching the 'Net.

I have a pair of s10c's 2 ohm models. what do you want to know? They hit hard need to have .66f3^ and MUST be sealed tight or they sound like crap. They take alot of power and stay clean. It is hard to find grills for them since thay are about an inch larger than the normal 10".

Nope never seen them before //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I remember when they first came out. They were marketed toward people who were looking for a lot of bass out of a single sub setup with very limited space. If I remember correctly, they had double thickness cones and needed roughly twice the power of other Kicker subs of that time.
