I love my (2) 10" l7 eventhough im only using one right now. But it hits hard with only 400 watts going to it. I like all kicker products there amps rock first system i had was kicker. The sub was a 12" comp using a kx400.1 Now i have the l7's and a kx1200.i but not using the 1200.1 only the 400.1 for the one sub right now.

L5's arent the greatest but for my budget i coulda gone all spl or all sq and with the amount of rattles i have in my car i figured it wouldnt make a difference in sq so i went with the L5s...loudest subs i could find for under a bill apiece

the solobaric "d" subs were the best kicker ever made. the slammed and sounded good too. if only they had pulled that off with the square ones.......

I love my L7s. I won't go into comparison, but to me, they are a great mix of SQL and simply get too loud for my ears when I push them a bit.

And IMO sound quality went way down hill (comparatively). The squares are nothing like the Solo d's. As analog said, the solo d's are probably one of the best subs Kicker has ever released.

the sound quality in sealed boxes isnt bad... but in a ported it becomes significantly worst but the SPL is ridiculous. i like my L7s but i have them ported right now and im thinking of puttin them in a sealed box like less than 2 cubes a piece.
