before you get attacked id say use the search function. there have been many threads on these subs. there is already alot of info on both of these already available here. and when you're all done with that you should know install playe the biggest part of how well either speaker will perform.......btw welcome to the board. oh yeah, check the attn. new users thread up top.

 
I have not compaired both head to head, so i can not help you their.

I own mtx subs, the 8000's, and i love them to death. Id recomend MTX to anyone.

But for the price of one w7, you can find two mtx 9512's for the same price. So you can basically ask, what will hit harder, two mtx 9500's or one w7....

... i think you can answer that for yourself.

You can wire those subs up @8 ohms if they are both SVC4 ohm subs,and that amp will run fine after being tuned properly...

The 240 should be 2x40/ 2ch. rated at 11.9v. Should generate close to 50+ @14v rms. Only Rated @4 ohms bridged Mono.. Should be around 125 rms...
