What are the differences between the two? Also do I need a different amp, depending on which of those two id get. I want to get the cheapest amp possible really, but I dont want to get the wrong amp.

dual 4 ohm can be wired for either 2 ohms or 8 ohms a subwoofer.............

dual 2 ohm can be wired for either 1 ohm or 4 ohms a subwoofer..............

the lower the ohms the more power your amp must put out. and the harder your subs will work.

make shure your amp can handel the load(ohms) before hooking it up because you can fry yor amp if the ohms are too low.

BTW What kind of amp do you have?
